Multi-floral research
Does multiflora rose removal change the proportion of native versus non-native seedlings over a six-week period?

Our environmental scientist Amber Murzda has been working on research on Rosa Multiflora! This research examines how multiflora rose affects plant communities across moisture and disturbance gradients. Early observations suggest native species may persist in saturated conditions, indicating its impact varies by site. The work compares removal methods to guide more effective, site-specific restoration strategies.

Our Eco-Friendly Mission

Environmentally Easy is a conservation-focused women owned business dedicated to restoring forest health, enhancing wildlife habitat, and reconnecting communities with the Earth around them. Through sustainable land management practices, our organization works to combat invasive species, support native biodiversity, and promote resilient ecosystems across Ohio and beyond.
At the heart of its mission is Trees for Trust, a community-driven initiative that emphasizes the power of restoration through action. By planting native trees, improving degraded habitats, and engaging volunteers, Trees for Trust fosters a deeper relationship between people and the environment—built on stewardship, education, and long-term ecological impact and spreads hope for a greener future.

We are a small, women owned and operated company that strives to be inclusive and diverse in our practice - Recognizing that sustainable land stewardship must reflect the diverse voices, knowledge systems, and needs of all people connected to the landscape. We believe that truly sustainable environmental begins with listening. Our work is guided by the principle that healthy systems thrive when all voices are heard—those of landowners, local communities, Indigenous peoples, scientists, and future generations.
